( Me at my place)
I am coming out loud and proud and declaring
the following:
1. I am an Aussie white bloke of European
descent!
2. I am heterosexual!
3. Although non religious I tend to believe in
so-called Christian values/beliefs!
Mike's Comments -
9/11/2014.
Also on my blog: www.beautkoot.blogspot.com.au
Subject: " ABC Insiders - 9/11/2014 - A free
kick for Teflon Bill !!!!!"
Well people what a bloody farce the ABC
Insiders this morning the 9/11/2014
was which I both watched and later listened to
on ABC Radio National later
and recorded both so I could replay what I
believe were the pertinent points
because otherwise you get a lot of gestimates
and unsubstantiated comments
from some of the members of the panel who just
try and justify their existence
and/or just like hearing the sound of their
voice - David Marr one of the regular
Insider panelist for
instance??
? Talk about a stacked deck??
Fran Kelly ABC Radio
National.
As I see it Kelly is not necessarily that pro
Labor but very anti - the Abbott
mob because I have never seen or heard Kelly where Kelly at sometime
or
other does not take every opportunity to highlight the negatives - and Kelly
digs deep - about any of the Abbotts
programs and ensures Kelly
interviews
people - so-called experts - to support
her constant negative anti- Abbott
sentiments - almost campaign like - and I can
hear the disappointment ?
frustration in her voice if the person Kelly is
interviewing tends not to be
going down the negative track Kelly
wants!
David Marr.
Then ofcourse people we have a regular on the
Insiders panel the none
other than the illustrious
and in my view the self opinionated! rude! talk
over the top of people
and not interested in whatever
anyone else has to
say - that's not important! some what neurotic! and an idealist David
Marr.
The best definition of an " Idealist " I can
find is quote " One whose
conduct is influenced by ideals that often conflict with practical
consideration
" unquote and I believe this definition fits David Marr to a " T " ( tee )
!!!!
According to Wikipedia quote " David Marr has
advocated drug law reform
and has written candidly about his life
experiences " I've had a lot of fun on
drugs...I've had a lot of marvelous
experiences. I've danced a lot. I've had a
great time. I'm not ashamed of it. And I don't
see what's wrong with it "
unquote.
Well people in my view from what I viewed and
listened too I would reckon
David Marr is either still on some drug or other?? or should be to calm
him
down!! because his performance was way over the top and rudeness
personified!!!
Gerard Henderson.
Columnist & Political
Commentator.
Gerard Henderson from the way he talks I assume
is on the Insiders panel
to try and balance the commentary because as Gerard appears to favour
the Liberal side of politics? that is ofcourse when he can get a word
in??
and then be allowed to finish what he has started to say without being
talked
over! shouted down! by the
Mr. Know it all! Marr! or Mrs. Negative Kelly! not
helped by an ineffective host Barry Cassidy!
I my view Gerard Henderson's political
knowledge both current and historical
makes Fran Kelly look like some " Air Head "
and David Marr the neurotic,
emotive - up himself - twit he is!! enough
said!!
Barrie Cassidy .
Host of the ABC Insider.
Now people ? just maybe Cassidy being the Ex
Personal Press Secretary for
Bob Hawke when he was PM for (5) years from 1986 - 1991 until Paul
Keating
took over as PM in 1991 and the fact that Cassidy is quoted in
Wikipedia as
stating Quote: " The most rewarding and interesting period of my life "
unquote
referring to the (5) years 1986 - 1991 that he in my view very soft pedaled
when
interviewing Teflon Bill Shorten on the 9/11/2014 with the hope that if Teflon
Bill
gets the PM's job at the next election he may need an ex Personal Press
Secretary to be his
future one????
Bob Hawke Ex PM
Paul Keating Ex PM
Teflon Bill Shorten. The Federal Opposition
Leader.
Lets take a look at some of the areas discussed
during the Cassidy and
Teflon Bills interview:
1. Unemployment ? - Teflon Bill was allowed to
rave on about the Abbott mob
promising a million jobs and how they have
failed?? they have only been in
office for (14) months and ofcourse the
unemployment figures when Labor
left office in September 2013 were heading to
6% if not more?? no challenge
from Cassidy!!
2. Growing the economy?
Teflon Bill at one time or the other prior
to the last September 2013 Federal
election held the following Ministerial positions:
Work Place Relations.
Education.
Financial Services &
Superannuation.
Assistant Treasurer.
This was on my Mike's Comments dated the
16/12/2013.
Subject: " These pathetic political crocodile
tears "
Quote:
People these pathetic political crocodile tears over the
closer of Holden in
2017 makes me want to
puke!!
Let me ask for your indulgence and quote the following from
the Business
News section in the Telegraph dated the March 18.2013 which was as
follows and refers to new data
from the corporate regulator revealing
that
insolvencies have hit a record high over
this 12 months with
manufacturing
/construction accounting for about one
fifth of collapses:
The Australian Securities & Investments Commission
reports there were
10,632 company collapses for the 12 months to March 1 - averaging 886 a
month - with the number of firms
being placed in administration more than
12 per cent higher than during the global
financial crisis.
While the high Australian dollar is seen as the main factor
behind
manufacturing closures, experts say the carbon tax is adding to increasing
cost burdens for many firms struggling
to stay afloat.
So people to
listen/view Bill Shorten the Labor Leader and the noisy
belligerent
trio of
the Senators Kim
Carr, Doug Cameron, Stephen Conroy
in the Senate all
doing their
collective sanctimonious impersonations
of a
Gillard screaming like
a banshee and
finger pointing at the Abbott mob over
the pending closure of
Holden in 2017
is so unbelievable let alone hypocritical
considering that the (12) month 10,632 collapses - plus Fords and Mitsubishi's
demise plus
the demise of many other Aussie company Icons !! - happened on
their Labor/Greens Party watch!!!!
So question people??? how many 100's if
not 1000's of people employed by
the 10.632 company collapses over just that (12) month period alone lost their
jobs
and?? what was
the ramifications in regard to their
families/communities
and
other feeder
organisations plus retailers and ? how many ended up on
welfare?
and how many still
are???? Unquote.
Now surely just those few facts alone would
allow a so-called experience
Press Secretary to the PM, journalist and commentator to question Teflon
Bill
in some depth?? yet no!! maybe to early on a Sunday morning and Cassidy
looked pretty rough and tired probably had a good night the previous
night??
3. Climate change. - Teflon Bill was allowed to
rabbit on about how the Abbott
mob are being found wanting by international
standards in regard to climate
change? no challenge from Cassidy in regard to
what Teflon Bill would do?
and how the Labor/Greenie Carbon Tax added an
additional burden onto the
average Aussie - ? who can do without
electricity?? decreased Aussies
international competitiveness! for little if
any effect on our climate or the
worlds!
In fact the ABC's science program " Catalyst '
ran a whole segment on how
the world had stopped warming for the last (12) years according to
research!!
Maybe Cassidy does not watch the ABC science
shows??
4.The Chinese Trade Agreement - which Labor
totally failed to achieve over
a period of the past (10) years?? and all Teflon Bill can come up
with is he
would like to see - in fact the Aussie people would like to see the
details??
However the fact the agreement has not been
signed yet so what is the
purpose of declaring the details at this stage because details of what??
an
unsigned document?? until the agreement is signed the details are not
finalised and as such are superfluous!! No challenge from
Cassidy!!
5. Taxation - this Labor mob in which Teflon
Bill was a Minister until September
2013 was in power for some ( 6) years yet
criticise the Abbott mob after only
(14) months for not clamping down on the top
end of town tax wise and tax
evasion?? and the Labor Party
did what?? and do what in the future should
they regain government?? No challenge from
Cassidy!!
6. G20 in Brisbane - Teflon Bill maintained
Labor should get the credit for
getting it to Brisbane in the first place but stated this was not a
subject for
politics and then went onto state that Climate Change was the elephant in the
room and as such as the Abbott mob don't have a formattable plan for climate
change that wont go anywhere - or words to that effect - No challenge from
Cassidy in regard to what Teflon Bill would do??
7. The Putin Shirt Front - Teflon Bill stated
he had some sympathy for Tony
Abbott but the shirt front situation went to
far and even weakened our
legitimate outrage.
This segment and those words went viral on the
ABC radio and TV programs
ad nauseam!! and why not such profound words
coming from their favourite
son and future financial benefactor Teflon Bill
as a possible future Aussie PM.
Tony Abbott PM.
President Putin.
Defence increased pay claim - Obviously as a
Opposition Leader Teflon Bill
will political milk this for all it's worth and
when Cassidy pointed out the large
financial deficits the country has and how this
would set a precedent for
other Federal employees Teflon Bill went for
the emotional response that the
military are putting their lives on the line
therefore they should be given
special consideration?? well it could be said
that the various branches of the
Federal police put their lives on the line
every day far more so than the Aussie
military and ofcourse I gather our military are
one of the best paid in the world.
Teflon Bill also brought up the old chestnut
which he is milking all he can and
that is Abbott's Paid Parental Leave Scheme -
which I personally don't agree
with - which Teflon Bill used as an example
where we could use that money to
pay the military which ofcourse Teflon bill
knows that this where there is a
1,5% levy put on companies with a taxable
income in excess of $5 million and
out of the estimated 750,000 companies in
Aussie only some 3000 would be
liable for paying the levy where the levy would
only be applied to tax in excess
of the $5 million dollars which I gather would
not be sufficient to cover the
pay increase for the military let alone the
precedent it would set amongst the
other Federal employees.
No questions from Cassidy in regard to Labor's
Paid Parental Leave Scheme
where while paying less and to fewer Mums and
Dads adds an additional
administrative burden to business especially
small business where Abbott's
Scheme is administered by the government? Why ?
all to difficult Barrie?.
Turn back the boats - Teflon Bill really out
did himself with this one where
Teflon Bill reckoned it was Labor's offshore
processing that was mainly the
main deterrent to the asylum smugglers not the
turning back of the boats??
What a load of rubbish!! they were still coming
at that point regardless by
the 100's!! and Teflon Bills answer would be a
quote " Regional Processing
Scheme "?? Yep the Indonesian crooked cops and
bureaucrats would help
the smugglers process the illegal's then ship
them over here as they did the
30 - 50,000 of them during Labors watch!!
ridiculous political waffle!!
Labor Factions - When asked by Cassidy the
question about Labor Party
Factions old Teflon Bill in his usual way
mentioned his usual mantra - opening
the membership to non union members - direct
elections - although not
pressed by Cassidy in regard to what Teflon
Bill preferred and when as this
has been going on for decades if not
more??.
Ebola - Again Teflon Bill is milking this great
tragedy for all it is worth and
without being asked specific questions on how
he would react if PM he was
allowed to fluff the question and rabbit on
about what a bad job the Abbott
mob are doing and no mention of how he would
protect us Aussies here
should Ebola cross our borders especially from
the Islands to our North?
If you watch the replay of the interview as I
have a couple of times you will
see Cassidy hardly says a thing and Teflon Bill
is allowed to churn out his
prepared political rhetoric hardly challenged
like some prepared election
speech!!
Annabel Crabb.
As Annabel Crabb the host for the ABC's Kitchen
Cabinet suggested when
having lunch last week with Teflon Bill at his
home that the media layed off
in regard to his other problem which I believe
referred to the allegation that
he raped a (16) year old girl back in the
1980's and apart from Teflon Bill
agreeing that they did no more was said
therefore I believe any reasonable
person would assume that prior to the interview
with Annabel Crabb the
subject of the alleged rape was not to be
discussed other than a mild subtle
reference which would have gone over the
average viewers heads unless
like me they were listening
intently??
So people how is that for political power and
influence when even the hard
hitting no holds barred commentator and
interviewer like Annabel Crabb
is muzzled and the likes of Barrie Cassidy the
Host of the popular Sunday
Morning ABC show the Insiders in my view went
very softly when interviewing
Teflon Bill Shorten last Sunday the 9/11/2014
and allowed Teflon Bill a free
get out of jail card interview and a free
political kick!!!
Ok people speak up because in my view for a
Federal Opposition Leader
like Teflon Bill Shorten to be able to wield
such power with the Aussie
Nations media especially the tax payer funded
ABC is to my mind very!
very! undemocratic and a possible threat to
what little democratic freedoms
we have in Aussie especially as Teflon Bill is
- second only to the PM - the
second most powerful Aussie pollie in the country!
So ?? how would it be if he became the next
Aussie PM??????
However people if your happy with that and
Teflon Bill Shorten becomes the
next " Draw a line under " Aussie PM and the
media especially the ABC are
given a daily media release to read out to the
Aussie plebbs like you would
expect to get from Kim Jong-un the North
Korea's Leader then don't whinge
when it happens because if this does not ring
alarm bells nothing will!!!
Mike
Howe.
