Well people we have by a different name a new Aussie Labor Prime Minister by the name of Malcolm the Magnificent Turnbull formally the Federal Liberal Minister for Communications who today - 16/9/2015 - challenged and won the Prime Ministers job from Tony Abbott by 54 Liberal Party votes compared to Tony Abbotts 44 votes.

Tony Abbott Ex Aussie PM as from the 17/9/2015.

Malcolm Turnbull the now new Aussie PM as from the 17/9/2015.

Ok now what Teflon Billy Shorten an alleged rapist and Federal Labor Opposition & Union Leader?? considering that you and the new Aussie PM the illustrious Malcolm the Magnificent Turnbull virtually sing from the same song sheet ie: Gay Marriage, Climate Control and some sort of financial control on polluters who ofcourse pass the costs on in whatever form to the consumers!! deposing of a sitting PM in fact Teflon Billy deposed of (2) PM's, renewable energy, A Republic so what has Teflon Billy got of any major concern and/or difference to attack and wedge Malcolm the Magnificent on??? or visa versa??.

After all Labor left just as high unemployment figures as the the current Lib/Nat's mob have and the Labor Party left the biggest national debt and deficit the Aussie Nation has experienced so to attack the Lib/Nat's on their current national deficits would be highly hypocritical of Labor however anything is possible in regard to Teflon Billy Shorten????.

Teflon Billy Shorten an alleged rapist and Federal Labor Opposition & Union Leader.

Both Turnbull and Shorten are two peas in a pod, as the saying goes, because they are highly ambitious, devious, winner takes all egotists, political wrecking balls for purely self interests and they are a disgrace to our political system where they have since they joined the Federal Parliament done everything they can at the time to under mine not just their competitors – in the case of Turnbull - but the Aussie political system in general to achieve personal gain ie; Turnbull the PM's job - ? what next the first Aussie President - Shorten the Opposition Leaders Job then hopefully the PM's job at the next election which would appear less likely now but ?? who knows ? maybe Kathy - yes remember her?? Teflon Billy's alleged rape victim just may get her day in court???.

Kathy - Teflon Billy's alleged rape victim.

However in my view they are both political back stabbing low life's who make the Aussie political system the poorer for it!!

Malcolm - The Magnificent - Turnbull has ofcourse a great visual presence! he speaks well, is pleasing on the eye especially for some of the politically shallow female voters, he carries himself well and is well presented even in casual wear, and as a phrase attributed to Peter Beattie an Ex Queensland Premier Turnbull is a - Media Tart - and just can't help himself the pompous peacock!!!

Peter Beattie - Ex Queensland Premier.

Turnbull is by another name just a replica of (007) the mouth from the North our once Ex PM Kevin Rudd a great talker, good visual presence but that it turned out was about all it was all talk little action!

Kevin Rudd - Ex Labor Aussie PM.

However at least Rudd won an over whelming political victory by popular vote of the Aussie Nation and had the backing of the Labor Party as a whole whereas the  Magnificent Turnbull only won a party room ballot of 54 votes against Abbotts 44 votes hardly an over whelming support from the party room and/or the Liberal Party I am sure, especially as Turnbull is not very popular within the Liberal or National Party their coalition partners because I gather they mainly can't trust him? amen to that people - amen to that? who in their right mind after what Turnbull has done politically would??.

In my mind opposition Leaders are fair game for being deposed after all who really cares outside the party anyway - but NOT PM's - they are very important and it is up to the populations voters to get rid of them otherwise as we have seen it creates to much instability and the ramifications that it causes can be catastrophic for the nation as a whole.

Tony Abbott now as from the 17/9/2015 our Ex Aussie PM.

As far as I am concerned and from the feed back I am getting from my readers this whole saga had little to do with picking the right man for the job to be our Aussie PM but more to do with who was going to get the self interested political low life's over the line at the next Federal election in some (12) months or so's time because they were concerned they would lose their seats especially I gather Julie Bishop the Federal Member for Curtin, WA and was - is under Turnbull - the Deputy Liberal Leader and Foreign Minister who surprised me and no doubt a large proportion of the Aussie population by being disloyal to Abbott and voting for Turnbull? but there again we only have to see the way Julie Bishop looks at the  Magnificent Turnbull
as though it would appear that she is some what smitten by the  Magnificent Turnbull’s  baby faced charm??

Julie Bishop still the Federal Deputy Liberal Leader & Foreign Minister.

However I see in the media Julie Bishop is being referred to as the quote – Cockroach – unquote having survived near death (3) times?? not I believe something to be remember as/for in years to come after politics??

The Magnificent Turnbull - The Liberal Parties Messiah.

Ok people lets take a quick look at this bloke - Malcolm the Magnificent Turnbull - the Messiah that will lead his people after the next Federal Election back to the Aussie Tax Payers Trough of Plenty??.

1993-2000 The Chairman of The Australian Republican Movement where because of his bombastic, arrogant, I know best attitude insisted that it should be a - Parliamentary Republic - where the parliament elected the President and not by popular Aussie vote which I believe led to the vote being split at the 1999 Referendum and the ' yes ' vote for a republic was lost!!

This is ofcourse why Turnbull and his homosexual mates and constituents do not want a popular vote on   - Gay Marriage - because they can't control the outcome as they can with the pollies with a vote in the parliament!!! as they would have controlled the election of a new President.

Peter King Ex pollie for Wentworth.

Turnbull in his usual - Win at all costs - unseated the then Liberal Member for Wentworth Peter King in a vicious political battle where I am led to believe that  The Magnificent Turnbull used his monetary - which he has a lot of - and influential muscle in the media - especially the Aussie ABC - and the Liberal Party machine to win the preselection and then the 2004 Federal election.

Brendon Nelson - Ex Liberal Party Leader.

After the divesting Liberal Parties electoral lose too (007) Kevin Rudd and the Federal Labor party in 2007  Magnificent Turnbull  ran for the Liberal Parties Leadership but however got beaten by Brendon Nelson by (3) votes - Nelson 45 - Turnbull 42.

Now as we have seen people once this  Magnificent Turnbull  sets his mind to something he hangs on like a - Mongrel Dog with a bone - and seemingly he and his backers - like they have done to Abbott - kept under mining- white anting - Brendon Nelson so much so the Turnbull's mob got a Liberal Party spill called on the 16/8/2008 where now the  Magnificent Turnbull won the Party Room ballot 45 to Nelsons 42.

Then in 2009 Turnbull arrogantly spat the dummy as Liberal Party Leader and stated that if the Liberal Party did not back Kevin Rudd's/Labor Parties - Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme - he would resign as the Liberal Parties Opposition Leader ?? and guess what people a party room spill was called and he got kicked out of the position anyway losing to Tony Abbott by one vote - Turnbull 41 votes Abbott 42 votes and at one stage the  Magnificent Turnbull  the Liberal Parties now Messiah was going to leave politics ?

However as we see he didn't leave politics and like the - Mongrel Dog his bone was the PM's Job - which obviously he has achieved now having very patiently waited for some (6) years and with the help of his starry eyed little offsider and Deputy Liberal Party Leader & Foreign Minister the none other than the WA Julie Bishop MP and her mob of backers delivered the Judas - Political Kiss of Death - to Abbott on the 16/9/2015.

Judas Iscariot & the kiss of death.

Mark Scott AO - MD - ABC.

It will be interesting to see who the Aussie ABC support now that two of their favourite sons face off against each other ie:  Malcolm - The Magnificent - Turnbull  in the blue corner or - Teflon Billy Shorten in the red corner ?? now that Tony Abbott is far less vulnerable to political satire?

However people below is an interesting opinion piece written by Peter Lewis and Jackie Woods from the ABC - The Drum - dated the 18/2/2015 where it shows that when  Malcolm – The Magnificent - Turnbull  was deposed by Tony Abbott in 2009 his polling was worse than Abbotts is now on the 16/9/2015 so ? you figure??? and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Turnbull will go that way again because he has less time than (12) months to improve the Liberals polling figures so if he goes to soft to please the Abbott backers? or goes to hard with his usual arrogant, belligerent - I was a Merchant Banker I know best ?? - and upsets the Abbott backers and gets nothing changed?? the voters will turn on him as they did before??

But never- the - less he will still beat that Union Rabble Rousing Union & Labor Opposition leader Teflon Billy Shorten because Turnbull thinks like Teflon Billy and as such will out maneuver, out wit, out smart, out think, out play Teflon Billy and will always be one or two steps ahead of him!!

It will not be until after  Malcolm - The Magnificent - Turnbull  has helped get the Lib's & Nat's over the line at the next Federal election will the knives come out for the - Turnbull & Bishop - combination because if you live and/or survive on underhanded skullduggery especially at this dizzy level it stands to reason you politically die by same because there is to much at stake!!

Ok people if you prepared to accept this third world - banana Republic - minus thank goodness a military take over or coup - then don't whinge - well not to me anyway - when matters in this once great country slides further down the chute?.

Sir Mike Howe - but can call me Mike. Scroll down.

Have we forgotten what Turnbull was like as leader?

OPINION
Posted
Malcolm Turnbull may be favoured to replace Tony Abbott as Liberal leader, but a look at polling history reminds us how badly the Turnbull leadership experiment ended the first time, write Peter Lewis and Jackie Woods.
Viewers of this week's Q&A would have been reminded about the best and worst of our potential next leader, Malcolm Turnbull.
On the good side: he has command of complex issues and is keen to articulate his mastery. On the bad side: he has command of complex issues and is keen to articulate his mastery.
For many viewers it led to a flashback of an era where two smarty-pants were facing off as PM and opposition leader. Both came undone, after being entangled in their own genius, which left them at odds with the team that had voted them leader.
Five years on, it's easy to forget how poorly the Turnbull experiment ended, amid false accusations based on the leaking of a troubled public service mole and the climate change kerfuffle that saw Liberal Party support for carbon trading overturned.
Turnbull's failure as leader was not one of intellect or principle, it was an inability to lead and unite his team. Even against a man whose own team was fracturing under his dysfunction, Turnbull couldn't maintain the support of his colleagues or of the public.
This week's Essential Report shows six in 10 Australians don't expect Tony Abbott to remain prime ministeruntil the next election. It also finds that Australians prefer the option of replacing Abbott as soon as possiblerather than giving him six months' grace or keeping him on as leader.
With Turnbull the popular frontrunner as preferred Liberal leader, we delve into polling history to see whether his absence from the leadership has made our hearts grow fonder.
First, if we think Tony Abbott is plumbing the depths of popularity, Turnbull sank lower.
Q. Do you approve or disapprove of the job Tony Abbott is doing as Prime Minister? (February 2015)
Total Vote Labor Vote Lib/Nat Vote Greens Vote Other
Total approve 29% 7% 65% 9% 20%
Total disapprove 62% 89% 29% 86% 71%
Don't know 9% 4% 6% 5% 9%
Q. Do you approve or disapprove of the job Malcolm Turnbull is doing as Opposition Leader? (November 2009)
Total Vote Labor Vote Lib/Nat Vote Greens Vote Other
Total approve 25% 21% 41% 21% 14%
Total disapprove 55% 62% 46% 63% 67%
Don't know 19% 16% 13% 17% 18%
After a shocker start to the year, Abbott is only rating 29 per cent approval, but that's still four points up on Turnbull's rating in the weeks before he was dumped in Abbott's favour. Abbott's disapproval rating at 62 per cent is higher than Turnbull's reached, but Abbott also has significantly more support among the Coalition-voting base. Where two-thirds of Coalition voters still support Abbott, only four in 10 supported Turnbull during his end days.
After taking the leadership at the end of 2008, Turnbull was languishing during most of 2009, even months before the Utegate scandal broke mid-year.
Q. Do you strongly approve, approve, disapprove or strongly disapprove of the job Malcolm Turnbull is doing as Opposition Leader?
12 Jan 09 9 Feb 09 30 Mar 09 18 May 09 29 Jun 09 10 Aug 09 28 Sept 09 9 Nov 09 30 Nov 09

Total disapprove 30% 43% 48% 49% 57% 58% 53% 50% 55%
And while he leads the stakes now, Turnbull wasn't the preferred Liberal leader when he held the job. In a reminder of how political fortunes can change, voters looked to Joe Hockey, especially immediately before the leadership spill that knocked Turnbull off.
Then as now, "someone else" and "don't know" were more popular options than the actual leader.
Q. Which of the following do you think would make the best leader of the Liberal Party?
6 July 09 17 Aug 09 30 Nov 09 3 Feb 2015
Joe Hockey 17% 16% 22% 5%
Malcolm Turnbull 13% 12% 14% 24%
Tony Abbott 7% 7% 9% 11%
Julie Bishop 8% 6% 6% 21%
Andrew Robb N/A 2% 2% N/A
Someone else 20% 24% 19% 13%
Don't know 32% 33% 28% 24%
On attributes, we can see just how much nostalgia has shifted views about Turnbull. While he comes up roses compared to Abbott's ratings today - it is a much closer match if we compare ratings from when Turnbull was leader.
As leader, Turnbull rated very low on honesty. And while arrogance is Abbott's trademark, as leader Turnbull trumped him, with 69 per cent of voters rating him as arrogant.

Turnbull's strongest suit is his brainpower. Turnbull-as-leader beats Abbott-as-leader by a full 25 points on intelligence and he's still rated as intelligent by three-quarters of voters.
Turnbull is viewed in many quarters as a potentially formidable political leader, able to win support in the centre, beloved by inner-city types and able to steal votes off the Greens and Labor.
But history shows that when he held the leadership, Turnbull struggled to win either the support of the public or his party room. It remains to be seen whether Turnbull will get another go and put our collective rose-coloured glasses to the test. Navigating the fine line between smart and smarty-pants will be crucial.
