(Me at my place)
I am coming out loud and proud and declaring the
following:
1. I am an Aussie white bloke of European
descent!
2. I am
heterosexual!
3. Although non religious I tend to
believe in the so-called Christian values/belief!

Barry Cassidy - ABC Insiders Host.
Tony Abbott PM
Malcolm Turnbull - Communications Minister.
People after watching on the ABC TV and later listening to a
recording of the show on ABC Radio of the ABC show the "
Insiders " today the 1/3/2015 I just could not stop laughing at the arrogant
audacity and unashamedly pro - Malcolm Turnbull and anti-Tony
Abbott bias the program showed considering they are supposedly
a Tax Payer funded organisation and have a charter to present unbiased reporting
- I emphasise the word " Reporting " and not " Commenting " - " Generating
"- " Promoting " - and present this to their viewers &
listeners for them to make up their own minds without being unduly influenced
one way or the other?? what a laugh that is as this show to me proved the point
that this ABC not only with the " Insiders " but generally just can't help
themselves because they are so ideologically opposed to any conservative
government down the decades it has become a way of life totally
ingrained and will continually be in my view while the old hands like Barry
Cassidy have such an influence!!
Bob Hawke - Ex Aussie PM.
I have viewed & listened to the " Insiders " for as long as I
can remember and I have stated in mike's comments many times how I believed they
show a pro - Labor bias and in my view this is exacerbated and inflamed by the
hosts Barry Cassidy's biases in favour of Labor and I believe also this could be
because of an ingrained experience brought about by Cassidy being employed by
the then Aussie PM Bob Hawke as his Personal Press Secretary from 1986 to 1991
where Cassidy stated quote " The most rewarding and interesting period of my
life " unquote.
Mark Scott AO - ABC MD.
Virtually from the time Tony Abbott became PM the ABC generally
across the board have done every thing possible in my view to distabilise the
Abbott mob and ofcourse not just Abbott PM but the LNP collectively especially
the Cabinet Ministers including Turnbull who have politically naively made
themselves an easy target not just for the ABC but the media
generally.
However in my view no media organisation has shown such remorseless
negativism and mournful listings of forth coming catastrophes than the
ABC!!
The ABC TV News, ABC 24 plus ABC Radio & National prior to the
LNP "Spill" and since have regurgitated - with some slight variance - virtually
verbatim the same head lines in regard to the challenge to Abbott's PM
leadership which to my mind is not reporting the situation but just keeping it
alive and in front of the viewers & listeners virtually promoting the
situation.
It is well know that the ABC ( Aunty) are very pro gay marriage
equality - ? probably because it is estimated that about 20 -
30% of the management and staff are either gay and/or lesbian and obviously
there is nothing wrong with that however if they use their positions and Tax
Payers funds to achieve or promote for personal gain then it has to be wrong
because it puts all the other sectors of the Aussie community at a distinct
disadvantage.
It is also well known that Turnbull is an advocate for gay marriage
equality which is ok why not??
However the fact that Abbott PM is not means I would have to be
naive for thinking that the support by the ABC across the board
for Turnbull is not largely because of the powerful gay & lesbian lobby and
supporters both from within the parliament -?probably some if
not most of the (39) pollies that voted for the spill? - and the
ABC??.
Paul Keating - Ex Aussie PM.
Maybe Turnbull with his very social liberalism, equality and
individual and human rights ? is why Turnbull expressed such
sympathy for Prof Gillian Triggs -should have taken Paul Keating's offer of a
safe Labor seat many years ago because regardless what the various media states
Turnbull is not popular within the conservative ranks!! - see
below.
Chris Uhlmann - ABC TV Host, Journalist, Author - " Jack of all
trades Master of none ".
(Wife) Gai Brodtmann Federal Labor MP for Canberra.
This bloke Chris Uhlmann who I have seen & heard many times
over the years in his various roles of TV Host, Political Editor, Reporter all
mainly within the ABC organisation ? where else because I believe Uhlmanns " Dr
Doom & Gloom " attitude blends very well with the ABC's philosophy of making
and commenting on the news as compared to just reporting it!!
Chris Uhlmanns anonymous people, sources, contacts, dissatisfied
pollies, voters, media etc:.
Tony Abbott - According to the likes of Uhlmann soon to be our Ex
PM?
Rarely have I seen Uhlmann in any role where he is not quoting some
anonymous sources and dissatisfied group of
people? insider contacts ? that are predicting some dire consequences
and the demise of some poor political bugger and ofcourse
Uhlmann was in his element on Barry Cassidy's Sunday Insiders show discussing in
his opinion the virtual axing of Tony Abbott within a matter of days as the
Leader of the LNP and PM??
I wonder if the polls keep improving for the LNP and especially
Abbott PM the likes of Uhlmann will admit they were
wrong??.
No ofcourse not!! when various - if not most of the members of the
media in their so-called expert opinion? - have predicted something is going to
happen and doesn't! they-like Uhlmann- in order to save face
will hound that person with even more accusations,
innuendos, insinuations especially in a very disparaging and
derogatory way putting pressure on them so that as soon as the person or group
concerned does the wrong thing they can state " See I told you
so!!".
Teflon Bill Shorten our Union & Federal Labor Opposition leader
and alleged rapist.
Anyway if Uhlmann was to get tough with Teflon Bill Shortens mob ?
how toxic would that get for his wife Gai Brodtmann the Federal
Labor Member for Canberra within the Labor Party to say nothing
of his domestic situation and probably his sex life??
People all this media hype about Tony Abbott being unpopular in the
polls is just that!!
To my knowledge Tony Abbott has never been popular with the voters
- especially the female voters - yet even as an unpopular Opposition Leader
Abbott/LNP at the last September 2013 Federal Election gave the
Federal Labor mob the worst political bath they have had in a 100
years and the Abbott mob won the election with at least a (15)
seat majority in the Lower House of Reps!!!!
There have been many PM's over the decades - Howard, Keating etc; -
where regardless of their unpopularity their party still got up
and won the election!!!!!
Now I can't foretell the future anymore than the so-called experts
like Uhlmann/Cassidy considers themselves to be because in this life there are
to many day-to-day imponderables??
However for what it is worth I believe Tony Abbott will lead the
LNP's to the next election and not Malcolm Turnbull because
Turnbull might be the darling of the voters - especially the female ones-
but the majority of LNP pollies do not only distrust Turnbull
but doubt he has the " Mongrel or Tiger " in him to not only
control the party but to win an election??
Monopoly Board.
Ok people this is your hard earned money these pollies and the ABC
are playing " Monopoly " with and therefore if you find that
you are playing with loaded dice and you don't " Pass Go" and you land in "Jail
" without the $200.00 and what is more you don't speak up about
it then don't whinge when it happens because you sure deserve
it!!
Sir Mike Howe - but you can call me Mike.
March 2012 " One Morning with Malcolm
Turnbull " - One Life in Politics - by Robert Manne.
Many people think it was a matter of
accident that when Turnbull finally came to Canberra it was as a member of the
Liberal Party. During our morning together in his parliamentary office in
Canberra, Turnbull acknowledges he has been offered a safe Labor seat on several
occasions, once by Paul Keating. He claims that he was never seriously tempted.
He would not be comfortable within the tradition of Labor; elements of the Labor
Party – in particular its trade union wing – would not be at all comfortable
with him. Turnbull offers a rather conventional distinction between Liberal and
Labor philosophy. “I think the best way I’ve been able to really distil it is
that the Liberal view of the role of government is to enable the citizen to do
his or her best. Whereas [with] Labor on the other hand, deep in their DNA is a
belief that government’s role is to determine what is best.” Turnbull reminds me
that he was a member of the Liberal Party in 1973, a distinctly unfashionable
position on the political spectrum for a young man of unusual talent, energy,
imagination and ambition during the heady days of
Whitlam.
