( Me at my place

Mike's Comments - 5/5/2014.

Subject: " ? What is so special/precious being gay/black/brown and/or
Muslims ?? "
People while watching last nights (4/5/2014) NBN Tamworth News and later
the ABC News where they both showed an incident where during an under 20's State of Origin rugby league match
between NSW and Queensland an unknown at this stage player was over heard - via the Referees microphone ?? unless
the players are wired for sound which I doubt ?? during the heat of battle - literally!! the two groups were in the
middle of a right punch up!! stating - it is assumed at this stage too Luke Bateman normally a Canberra Raiders forward who was
playing for NSW - that he was
quote " A f---king gay c--t " unquote.
Later the Rugby League CEO Dave Smith was interviewed on the side line who
assured the TV interviewer - ? name - that the matter would be fully investigated by the NRL Match Committee and if a
player was sited he would be fined and suspended.
There is no mention of what Luke Bateman might have said/done to the
offending player because looking at the replay in very slow motion as I have it would appear the Referee was yet to arrive on the
scene so therefore his microphone would have been out of range!!
However I have yet to meet an innocent Rugby League forward - gay or
otherwise!!
Now as Rugby Union forward for many years I know from experience it - like
Ruby League and to some extent Soccer/Football - is a violent sport and even playing within the rules of the game ? if you
did the same things to people off the playing field as you do on it you would be charged by the police with serious criminal
assault!!
Therefore as a consequence you get hurt whether accidently or purposely
and whether that be from verbal and/or physical abuse by your opponents and depending on the severity it is only human to react
and respond in kind ? or worse??
This ofcourse is an inherent primeval/primal human - plus most of Mother
Natures creatures have it - instinct which is commonly referred to " As fight or flight response " a physiological reaction which
is a biological genetic condition we are born with so unless we are going to perform a lobotomy on the frontal lobe of every new babies
brain to zombify us then we have to accept that all humans at least are capable of reacting violently one way or the
other whether that be verbally/physically if pushed to do so and we would be naive to believe that every one is capable of doing so in a
controlled way ?? hence unintentional murder???
As compared to a Muslim suicide bomber detonating a bomb belt, car bomb in a
crowded shopping area killing/maiming innocent men, women and worse - if that is
possible?? - children!! which we see/hear and read about in the media
daily
Now I realise that losing your temper and hurting someone in anyway is not
acceptable by society or in law!!
However provocation can be used as a defence when someone claims they were
provoked and incited to anger or resentment so although it is very commendable that the various sporting bodies ie;
League,Union,AFL,Soccer and the like are instituting these anti homophobic, racism rules and regulations however this is not a one way
street as the perception seems to be amongst the gay, black, brown,Muslim minorities where there is an ever increasing
tendency - encouraged by interested parties ie;lawyers, pollies etc; - for these various mobs to believe otherwise in regard to the broader
white, heterosexual, non Muslim majority of the Aussie population and this can - and is - build up antagonism by the broader
community because the gays, blacks, browns and/or Muslim minorities believe that some how they are some what special/precious and
untouchables and can say! act! behave as they like because the common/criminal laws plus club/organisations rules and
regulations protect them because if this is the case then you can throw the laws, rules and regulations in the garbage bin !!! they
wont work!!
You cannot decree/pass laws/rules/regulations and enforce people to like
and respect you!! this has to be earned and there are no short cuts!!
However for the life of me I cannot understand why a male sportsman has to announce to the world he is gay?? WHO CARES??
You don't get other sportsmen and women announcing to the world " Oh by the
way I am heterosexual,bi-sexual or asexual therefore not interested either way!! " so what's with the " I'm gay bit
"????
The fact that you as a bloke prefers kissing other blokes than girls and
anal sex to vaginal surely has ? or should not? no bearing on how you play the game??
Unless ofcourse you are concerned how your fellow team mates will view you
looking at them stripping off in the change rooms /showers?? but barring no unforeseen incidents they will get used to that
in no time!!
I believe we have gay football teams now so ??? does that mean if I am not
gay I cant participate/join in?? if so it is in my view a definite case of discrimination against me for being hetro!! interesting
court case could develop??
Anyway people I gather we are all born equal - unless you are a prince or
princess then I am informed you have mystical blue blood?? - and as such it is up to us to make of our life what we
will??
However we white, heterosexual, non Muslims must ensure that the " Lets look
after the precious minorities first " pendulum does not swing to far away from us!! but if your happy with that then cop
it sweet and don't whinge!!
Mike Howe.
