 People as I am sure you are aware from our media that we have a bunch Greenies who at best obtained 8.9% of the 2013 vote - which means ofcourse that 91.1% of Aussie voters did not one way or the other vote for them therefore a Greenie mandate for ZERO!!!!

 We have a WA Senator Ludlam to all intense and purposes about to get the chop by either the WA courts or the WA voters if they have to go back to the polls?? and even if he doesn't get  the chop the Greenies lose the balance of power in the Senate from 1/7/2014!!

 We have the lonely Greenie - because he lost his other (3) Greenie mates at the last ACT election !- and the ACT Minister for Fire Trails Shane Rattenbury who's claim to fame will probably be that he ok'd - because as the " King Maker " he has to ok everything in the Act because the Gallagher mob are ineffective without him and the ACT  L & NP seem to be a pretty impotent mob to say the least!!-the passing of the 
ACT gay marriage equality bill which is under consideration 
in the 
High Court currently!!

The Greenies have no representation in the Queensland State government after 
being kicked out at the last state election!!

The Greenies have lost control of the majority of councils in  NSW!

The Greenies are insignificant in WA , NT , Vic, ? SA and if the polls in Tassie
- the once Greenie power base - are 50% 
correct the Greenies are about to get a 
real and well deserved 
kick in the bum from the Tassie voters at the next state 
election as they did in the last 2013 federal where their votes 
dropped by (9%)!


We have the " Lame Duck " Greenie by the name of Adam Bandt the Member for 
Melbourne in the house of Rep's 
and the Deputy Leader of the Greenies - what 
does that 
tell yeah people?? - who got over the line in the last 2013 
federal 
election on the backs of wet behind the ears Uni 
students because Bandt's 
electorate has a large Uni 
student population and I believe most of them were the 
giggly semi hysterical young girls standing behind him 
on election night when he 
claimed victory and warned the 
Aussie population that from this historical moment 
where 
a Greenie has won a lower house seat in his/their own right
- seconded later 
with the whole Greenie mob standing 
behind Senator Milne on TV congratulating 
Bandt and 
wetting their knickers with excitement I am sure!! - that he - 
Bandt - will 
hold the Abbott ? or any other government as 
the full results were not all in at that 
stage!! accountable!! 


Oh yeah give us a break! accountable NO!!! a nuisance YES!!


Then ofcourse we have the current illustrious Greenie Leader by the name and title 
of Senator Milne who took 
over the Greenie Leadership from that wirily old Bob 
Brown who expected the Greenie caravan after the one off 
- as it turns out - 2010 
good election results to roll on and to 
take over the Treasury Benches as the 
government any time 
soon?? well the wheels have certainly fell off that caravan!!
Senator Milne by all accounts after gaining a BA ( Hons ) Cert - which from 
my experience is very low on the rung of the 
ladder of academic achievements -
in 1975 and for the next  
(9) years became a Secondary School Teacher majoring 
in English, History & Social Science - with the acception of 
English minor academic 
subjects - and political activist.


In 1984 as an Greenie activist got voted in as a Tassie Pollie to later lose the seat 
in 1989 and become a Greenie party hack 
and full time advisor to Bob Brown who 
at that stage was a 
federal Senator.


Then in 2004 due to more luck than judgment and by a very narrow vote got the  
required quota thanks to the votes below 
the line I gather and got into the federal 
Senate as many party hacks across the board do who happen to be in the right place at the right time and say everything the party wants to hear!! bugger the 
voters!! 


Now why am I going on about the Greenies and especially Senator Milne??


Well we have a women in Senator Milne who night after night stares at us through our TV screens with that austere school 
teacher look on her face - her basic 
training!! - I often imagine 
her stating " Mike Howe I can see you talking at the back 
so shut up! sit up! and listen too me or else you will be sorry!! " 
and I am sure this is the imagine millions of viewers take on 
board where we are constantly threatened 
with climate  
" Armageddon " in 50 - 100 years from now! international 
backlash if we 
don't conform to international laws in regard 
to refugees/asylum seekers! our PM 
Abbott and others must move aside because gay marriage equality is inevitable! says 
Milne on behalf of some of the (8.9%) non-religious Greenie 
supporters???


Aussies can only have a debt ceiling of 400 billion not 500! we must tax the miners
more but at the same time close down 
the coal mines?? very clever strategy?
somewhat confusing but there again who can fathom the complexities of a Greenies  mind?? and the tirade is constant!! the demands are constant! 

So question people what qualifies this Senator Milne and her bunch of political bullies 
and thugs of a narrow minded/
/perspective! niche! minority ! party to demand 
that the other 
(91.1%) - the majority!! - of people that obviously don't want the 
Greenies in our 
political system toe the Greenie party Line 
whether we like it or not???


Senator Milne by all accounts has minimal academic qualifications and then certainly 
not in commerce,industry,finance,law or even 
in the environment!! and to all intense 
and purposes has always 
had her hand in the public purse when it came to remuneration 
of one kind or the other so how could she possibly be aware 
of what the average Aussie 
is going through when she keeps 
advocating bunging on more taxes/cost impediments 
bureaucratic red tape/procedures/refugee welfare/ overseas aid/ 
carbon taxes and one 
way or the other treating the Aussie tax 
payer as  a bottomless pit of funds all because 
of some ideological 
unsustainable Greenie narrow minded view of the world!!??


In my view all this is the last throws of the political life and a desperate bid for the 
Greenies to try and remain relevant ? 
if they ever really were when it came to the majority of Aussies?? 
and therefore I believe it is very over due for them too " Move Aside " 
and 
let the Abbott mob sink or swim politically and stop these 
childish and in the long term 
pointless bulling and thug like 
political tactics because the Labor & Greenie debacle prior 
to the 2013 election failed in the eyes of the Aussie voters 
miserably and they let you 
both know in no uncertain terms!!!


Ok people I have had my say so if your just going to stand by and hope for the best 
from a bunch of self interested pollies then 
you have rocks for brains and you deserve 
all you get so no point 
in whinging!!!!!


Oh by the way there is no point contacting me in regard to whether you either disagree or agree with me and why!! tell the powers that be because I have supplied you with a ready made email list what

Over the years I have stated a few times in mikes comments how I thought that
the now PM Abbott was a political head kicker/attack dog for Johnny Howard and
later as Opposition Leader his own political head kicker/attack dog and how I
considered it to be an unacceptable spectacle for one of the leaders of this great
Aussie nation and although as the boss cocky PM Abbott may tone the aggression
down some what because he has now achieved his political life long ambition
of becoming PM I very much doubt he will be that subdued for long because of
the nature of the beast he can't help himself!!

However Bill Shorten is no choir boy!!

Bill Shorten was being interviewed by Barry Cassidy on the Insiders on Sunday
last - 10/11/13 - and was asked the question in regard to what type of Opposition
Leader is he planning to be - or words to that effect - ? negative like Tony Abbott?
to which Bill Shorten replied - none to convincingly!!- in various ways that he
wasn't!!

However the following is as you can see my mikes comments dated the 14/6/2013
where I voiced my opinion in regard to the disgusting behaviour of Bill Shorten
when he was the Minister for Employment and Work Place Relations read on:

People someone in authority should inform Bill Shorten The Minister for
Employment and Work Place Relations that he is no longer the Secretary of the
Australian Workers Union when asked to answer questions in the house of Reps
he is supposedly a Minister of the Crown!!

The parliamentary Despatch Box is not a rostrum at a no holds barred Labor
Party/Union meeting slug fest where obviously Bill Shorten had learned his
debating skills and where he had become accustomed to attacking anyone and
every one that had the affrontery to dare question him with the ferocity of a
small terrier - ? the little man syndrome??

Oh dear now the PM Gillard has an excuse to divert from the major issues of the
day concerning the majority of Aussies such as her and her governments failure
to manage the nations economy and borders to discrimination against short
people?? that's ofcourse when she is finished hypercritically weeping buckets
of crocodile tears of self pity in regard to political discrimination against females?
shame poor darlings.

However never mind the PM Gillard has just got herself a $12,000.oo per year
increase in her already $400,000 plus salary and perks which ofcourse will boost
that payout when she get's dumped on the 14/15 of September this year so ??
that should help dry those crocodile tears?? what do you reckon people??

Anyway I digress.

Late last week I watched via the ABC the house of Rep's question time where I
believe I witnessed a parliamentary spectacle not worthy of any pollie and
especially not a Minister of the Crown!! Bill Shorten was asked quite
legitimate questions by the opposition - lead by Malcolm Turnbull - about
the Telstra phone pits and the problem with their removal in regard to asbestos?

Well do you think Bill Shorten would answer the questions put to him without
spitting fire and brimstone and vitriol at the opposition going way back to the
Johnny Howards days?? in regard these pits/asbestos.

Repeatedly Bill Shorten was asked by the opposition to come back to the
Despatch Box on a point of order in regard to his reply/answer and relevance?
so many times he was like a YO-YO with the string being attached to the
Despatch Box!! yet even then after being urged by the Speaker Ms Anna Burke
MP many times to address the question properly and make it relevant the cocky
little bugger refused to until the very end of this uncalled for tirade by Minister
Shorten when he appealed to the opposition for a partisan effort in regard to
asbestos problems in general and not just the Telstra Pits?? this ofcourse could
have been done/said on Bill Shortens first trip to the box instead of Bill Shortens
pathetic and desperate attempt to score political points!!

However the ironical thing is that although the Speaker Anna Burke agreed with
Malcolm Turnbull many times in regard to Bill Shortens behaviour in regard to
his answers not being relevant Anna Burke ejected Malcolm Turnbull from the
chamber because he kept reminding the Speaker of such?? so people you figure?
what a bloody debacle?? is there any wonder the country is on the slippery slide
down hill?

Mind you even though Bill Shorten is touted as being the next Labor Party Leader
well? if there is a Labor party left after 14/9/13?? he only got elected to the Reps
on the 24/11/2007 so therefore he has still got his political training wheels on!!

Now why am I going on about this incident when this disgusting behaviour
promoted by our PM Gillard who by far is an expert exponent of not answering
questions put to her by the opposition and where this devious female - whoops
there I go pointing out that the PM Gillard is a female! tut tut that will never do!!
pours scorn and vitriol at every opportunity on Tony Abbott and the opposition
in a desperate and pathetic attempt to score political points instead of answering
the questions and being held accountable to not only the opposition but to the
good citizens of this great nation of ours and it is because of this attitude that
" We are the untouchables " that this bunch of pollies - I include the Greens in
this!! - are allowing this country to fall apart at the seams!!

PM Gillard and this Labor mob plus Greens are asking the voters to re-elect
them based not on their pathetic track record in so many area's but future very
expensive unfunded educational and disability unproven programs where these
current pollies will be long gone out of politics enjoying these well funded tax
payer funded retirement plans when the proverbial hits the fan when these
unfunded bureaucratic controlled programs unravel due to the lack of funding
and expertise!!

Ok people speak up or cop the consequences because if you don't then you
deserve all you get so don't whinge!!

Well people that was back on the 14/6/2013 and as of today the 13/11/2013 on
listening to parliament on the ABC Radio especially the disgusting behaviour
in question time in the Senate where the Labor Senators would ask the Lib/Nats
Ministers questions and without waiting for the answers started to howl down
the Ministers while they were in the process of talking which meant the
President of the Senate had to repeatedly stop the proceedings!! one of the
main culprits - because the President named him a couple of times!! was who
else but our illustrious Union Leader and NSW Senator the honorable Doug
Cameron - ? what an unedifying spectacle to say nothing of the total waste of
the hard earned tax payers funds!!! and this is only day (2)!!!????

Then we had Senator Milne the Greens Leader following in Adam Bandt's foot
steps and try to implicate global warming in regard to the Philippines current
disastrous tragedy by trying to trick the Minister into denying that it was or
not possible??

What a bunch of self interested political low life's and a waste of tax payers
funds!!

Ok people speak up because we have (3) years of this political farce ahead
of us and if you don't then say goodbye to your hard earned taxes for very
little return so don't whinge!!!

People following the emails mentioned below ( scroll down) I would like to welcome (2) reluctant readers of mikes comments namely the new so-called Independent Member for Indi Miss Cathy McGowan MP. OA and her offsider Cambell Klose and just in case they in a moment of petulance delete this without reading it and giving it due consideration from a concerned Aussie citizen you will notice I have sent a copy to the Editor of the Wangaratta Chronicle because I considered it only fair that even if the new federal Member for Indi was not interested in what I had to say the good Burghers of Indi might be????.
I watched a part interview on the ABC 21 last night - 10/11/13 - with Miss Cathy McGowan MP where she was asked about asylum seekers and her reply was;
Quote " We should pay attention to our international obligations! listen to our hearts! pay attention to our neighbours! unquote -
Me thinks Miss Cathy McGowan MP OA a so-called independent has been reading the federal Greenies hand book?? no mention in regard to what the Aussie population wants?? and how much stress this is adding to the already stretched Aussie tax payers?
No ofcourse not!! what would a well paid and new pollie that still has her training wheels on know about what the average Aussie wants before she takes it on herself to makes announcements of policy to the news media who are desperately hungry for any tit bit of negativity to beat the new Abbott government over the head with!!
It would appear that Miss Cathy McGowan MP OA is not familiar with the saying that:
" Negative News is stimulating and sends the media frothing at the mouth!! good news causes the media's eyes to glaze over and go back to sleep!!!
I believe that Cathy McGowan M P. OA is going to find that there is a vast difference between being an Agricultural Consultant,Farmer and associated with the likes of the Victorian Farmers Federation, Australian Women in Agriculture and a University Lecturer and a " Lame Duck media nuisance value! " federal Member of parliament where Miss Cathy McGowan MP OA only won the seat by 431 votes - hardly an overwhelming vote of voter confidence?? - and holds the seat by the slimmest of margins of 0.2%!! and to add too Miss Cathy McGowan's MP OA problems she won the seat from the current Liberal government!!
Good luck Miss Cathy McGowan MP OA in regard to receiving any federal funding for " Indi " over the rest of your tenure?? (3) years.
So speak up people and don't let the likes of Miss Cathy McGowan MP OA or her offsider Campbell Klose ignore you because it does not suit their particular - political or otherwise ? - prospective on life and/or their ideology!!
As the subject states the biggest killer to democracy is the lack of courage- - and I should also add " Political Correctness " - plus Political, Media and Public Apathy!!!!!!

Many thanks for your response but as one of the new kids on the block so to speak I should point out the following;
1. While you and Cathy McGowan and all those concerned have your hand in my pocket for your salaries, travel expenses, a very hansom superannuation scheme,over heads including your tax payer funded email address, fax, phone etc; you will continue to appear on my email list and as a consequence receive my emails and if you don't then I will take the matter up with the Speakers office.
2. I don't do this for just something to do!! I do this as I have now for decades as a concerned Aussie citizen and when Cathy McGowan MP sits in the house of reps and votes on various legislation she is doing so on behalf of every Aussie which believe it or not includes me and not just her constituents because if you and Cathy McGowan MP relied solely on the funds raised within your constituency I doubt you would raise enough to cover your electricity bill and maybe (6) months travel expenses to and from Canberra and you would probably both have to get a second job??
3. For your information Cathy McGowan MP is referred to as an independent because in theory she has not aligned herself to another party - major or otherwise - it does not mean she runs the independent state of " Indi " because the last time I looked Cathy McGowan MP swore an oath to serve the good citizens of Australia which again believe it or not includes me and my concerns!!
I suggest that if Cathy McGowan MP wishes to only represent the good citizens of " Indi " then Cathy McGowan should abstain from voting for anything that effects the good citizens of Aussie in general outside " Indi "which ofcourse again strange enough for you to comprehend includes me and the next time don't waste the hard earned Aussie tax payers funds let Miss Cathy McGowan MP OA just run for the local council and become Councilor Cathy McGowan?? even being a state pollie would have to wide a parameter!!
Welcome to the big boys and girls club Campbell Klose you left kindergarten the moment Miss Cathy McGowan MP OA took the oath now the real work starts ? maybe within a very short while you and Cathy McGowan MP will start to realise that the easy part was to criticise Sophie Mirabella filling her shoes will be a totally different ball game??
4. The oath that Cathy McGowan took stipulates that she is there to serve the Aussie population and not to my recollection was it for the Aussie population to serve her - or you for that matter!! so I suggest you do less telling Aussie citizens like me what I can or can't do and instead start listening to our/my concerns or I can see Cathy McGowan's tenure as a federal MP being a one term wonder??
